Experience
I have 14 years teaching experience ranging from 3rd grade to 12th grade and 6 years teaching experience in post secondary education. I am currently employed as a reading specialist for Special School District and have tutored students privately for the past 9 years from the private and public sector. While, I specialize in reading strategies along with study skills and test taking strategies. Tutoring students in grades K-12 and adults in ESL has been a passion of mine. While I enjoy watching students comprehend what they are reading, I love to teach the love of reading bringing them the excitement of discovery.
